For the first time, in the seven years of the rating kept by INFOLine information and consulting agency, the list of the largest food producers in Russia was topped by a domestic company.
In the 2022 yearend, EFKO became the industry leader in terms of revenue leaving behind the long-term leader PepsiCo. EFKO's revenue increased by more than 20% and amounted to 277 billion rubles. In three years the company reached rank 1 moving up from ranked fifth.
PepsiCo was ranked second (270 billion rubles). Rusagro with a revenue of 240.2 billion rubles was ranked third.

"Last year we grew our revenue by 24%. The main contribution was made by the brand business, processing of oilseeds and specialty fats.
As for mayonnaise, we managed to add 12% to the stagnant market, while exports increased by 34%.
We are glad about the "green shelf". Despite the figures not so noticeable against the general background, this is a 300% growth. A billion turnover and good perspectives in Africa and the Middle East are already obvious.
Last year we continued to invest, stopped none of the projects. A good harvest contributed to the processing of oilseeds, and the company managed to increase production capacity in time.
As in the previous year, more than half of the revenue growth was due to price increases. In the second half of 2022, vegetable oil prices turned around, and in 2023, for the fourth year in a row, it will be much more difficult for us to keep double-digit growth rates. But we will try to!"
