Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy and EFKO agreed to cooperate on educational initiatives and implementation of cutting-edge projects related to science, technology, and innovation. The food business, biotechnology, and environmental preservation are all areas of mutual interest for the parties.

Prof. Vladimir Trukhachev, the University rector, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Vladislav Romantsev, Director for strategic development at EFKO, joined the signing ceremony.

According to Vladimir Trukhachev, the rector of Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, the University continues to strengthen its position as the flagship of Russian agricultural education and science. The development of partnerships with EFKO which is the largest Russian food manufacturer will contribute the following step in this direction.

Vladislav Romantsev, Director for strategic development at EFKO, pointed out that the agreement contributes to ensuring technical sovereignty and impacts biotechnology which is crucial for the creation and manufacturing of domestic feed additives, enzymes, and vitamins. Another joint effort concerns the introduction of unmanned aircraft technologies which require rethinking a variety of agricultural areas.
