New Mobility and Food of the Future July 9, 2022
Healthy Innovation at INNOPROM 2022

New mobility and food tech. Two key themes of Russia's marquee industry, export and trade fair INNOPROM 2022 perfectly fit EFKO's innovations.

New mobility – our Hi-Fly drones.

Food tech – plant-based meat and Hi-Food milk.

Biruch Innovation Centre and Food of the Future showcased EFKO products in the Industry and Trade Ministry's booth, including Hi-Fly air taxis, making their first appearance at an exhibition of this magnitude.

The air taxi could safely be called a celebrity among aircraft, if such existed.

Eight stories on federal TV channels, hundreds of articles and comments – Hi-Fly Taxi was in the spotlight throughout the four-day exhibition.

And all because of its actual flights, not just the futuristic design. This machine alone has already clocked over 100 hours of flight.

‘Our view of the city of the future is when people can live in nature in a country house and work in the city centre, having access to urban infrastructure in 30–40 minutes. Without traffic jams. Quickly and safely,’ said Sergey Ivanov, Executive Director of EFKO and Head of Healthy Innovation projects. ‘Air taxis are the means of urban mobility bringing this future closer.’

Russia's Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov visited Biruch Innovation Centre's booth on 5 July. Sergey Ivanov presented the technical features of the air taxi and shared the development results of a second drone – the Hi-Fly Cargo evacuation drone.

A couple more steps, and you find yourself in the Foodnet bar with Food of the Future. With eight snacks made with plant-based Hi! meat.

‘I tasted it last year,’ said Denis Manturov. ‘No difference [from regular meat]!’

Hi! was also the exclusive supplier of plant-based meat at the INNOPROM buffet. Throughout the exhibition, key speakers in the VIP LOUNGE area tried four dishes with plant-based meat and acknowledged that they were not only environmentally friendly but also delicious!

‘The splendid taste of plant-based meat and the absence of animal products are the fundamental criteria used when selecting products for delivery to the Iranian market. For consumers, it is critical that the product have a special halal certificate. This product [plant-based meat] has good prospects. Not only on the Iranian market but also in other Muslim countries. Well done!’
