Sweet-Tasting Protein at Prodexpo-2025

Spain, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Brazil, and Serbia – over 30 countries participated, and hundreds of visitors gathered at the International Food and Beverage Exhibition "Prodexpo".

A unique novelty at the EFKO stand this year is candies containing the sweet-tasting protein brazzein. It does not raise blood glucose levels or cause an insulin response. EFKO-Art confectionery launched sales directly at the exhibition using a telegram bot with user-friendly navigation.

Products by EFKO's Oil and Fat Division once more claimed three gold medals at the traditional "Prodexpo" awards ceremony. Ecomix 4003-30 confectionery fat won in the 2025 Best Product of the Year category. It is used for creating fillings and enhances the nutty or milky taste of foods.

The Expert Council recognized Equilad 0401-34 cocoa butter equivalent in the Innovations in Technology category. Owing to its distinctive composition and production technology, it is not only very similar to cocoa butter but also exceeds it in certain parameters. For instance, it has a faster crystallization rate, prolongs shelf life, and preserves the appealing look of products.

Ecomuls DMG60 food additive emulsifier was given Innovation in Technology and Product Composition award. It helps stabilize the emulsion, maintains the product's consistency, and extends the freshness of baked goods.
