EFKO and the Government of the Tula Region have signed an agreement to implement the second phase of the Tula Food Plant. The document was signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025.
"A year ago, at SPIEF, we began our cooperation," Vladislav Romantsev, Director of Strategic Development at EFKO, said. "Today, all engineering infrastructure has been connected to the site, and preparations are underway for the installation of equipment for our first project in the Uzlovaya Special Economic Zone, a mayonnaise production facility. The new agreement marks the beginning of a second project: the production of bottled vegetable oil. Over time, the Tula Food Plant will become one of EFKO’s four largest and most automated production sites," he added. "Around one thousand new jobs will be created here. We hope that many residents will find their calling at EFKO and take pride in contributing to the production of food products recognized and loved throughout the country."
"The total investment in the second phase of the plant will amount to 10 billion rubles. The regional government and I personally are ready to provide the company with comprehensive support," Dmitry Milyaev, Governor of the Tula Region, said.
