Hi! Drinkable Yoghurts on the Shelves in Perekrestok, Lenta, and Magnit Stores 8 November 2022
Ramping up sales of Healthy Innovation new offerings

A ubiquitous light snack that is always easy to take with you on the road, to school, or at work – drinkable yoghurts help cope with today's fast-paced life every day. One is spoiled for choice when it comes to dairy offerings on the shelf. However, tasty plant-based products are rare. Fortunately, Hi! has solved this problem.

The story of Hi! plant-based drinkable yoghurts began at the Prodexpo 2022 international exhibition. Visitors to the EFKO booth were offered to choose the next product to be added to the Hi! line. Drinkable yoghurts won by a wide margin, well ahead of plant-based kefir and ice cream. However, their time will definitely come, just a little later.

The final R&D stage, fine-tuning of flavours, pilot sales, and first agreements with major retailers and online shops. Now five great flavours of Hi! plant-based drinkable yoghurts are available in 4,000 stores in 15 regions across Russia. That includes Perekrestok, Lenta, Magnit Family, Auchan, OK, and OZON.

Lime-lemon-mint, blueberry-blackcurrant, raspberry-honeysuckle, cranberry-orange, red and blackcurrant – like all Healthy Innovation products, the new offering is 100% plant-based. This equally applies to vitamin D3, sourdough, and bifidobacteria.

Hi! drinkable yoghurts are made from soya protein and come in convenient 270g bottles.

Natalia Zabara, Deputy Director for New Product Development at EFKO
“While creating the new drinkable yoghurts, we preserved all the key advantages of Hi! products. Our new offerings are free of artificial additives and preservatives.

Vege starter culture and B.lactis Vege bifidobacterium are responsible for fermentation and texture in the yoghurts. They make the products light but very similar to milk yoghurts. Probiotics support microflora in the intestines, enhance digestion and strengthen the immune system. And all these benefits without a gram of animal fat.

Most of the flavours of Hi! drinkable yoghurts are based on berries and fruits with a slight sourness. Tests have shown that these combinations best complement the soya base of yoghurt. Thanks to this, the new offering turned out less sweet. We hope healthy lifestyle advocates will appreciate it”.
